The Unlikely Disciple

I recently decided to broaden my horizon and read a book that  was not written by guys with last names like Piper, Keller, Driscoll, and so on. The other day, in Barnes and Noble, I stumbled across a book that caught my eye and since then haven’t been able to put down.

Most books I read are about how Christians can engage the culture. This book, written by a non-believer, is just the opposite. Kevin Roose, the author, decides he wants to emerge himself in the Christian culture. Sound kind of crazy? Take a look…

So fair the book has been convicting, insightful, and very funny.

You can pick up the book for cheap here.

THANK YOU for finally using a book/video/lesson from someone than Driscoll, Piper, Keller, and so on.

Giving the perspectives of only a *handful* of *men* is a very narrow picture of Christianity.

    One more thing…

I am not trying to be antagonistic. I understand completely why you can “endorse” certain people and not others. However, I would suggest reading this article:

before “endorsing” Piper the way you do on this blog.
