Yesterday at The Venue we heard a great message on the power of prayer. Let us take the opportunity this week to be in intentional, strategic prayer to each other, and ASU.
Post your prayer requests below.
Also, just a reminder that a group of VIers meet Wednesday nights on Hayden Lawn (ASU) at 9:30 PM to pray for our campus.
God calls us to pray. Not just maintenance prayer to meet our personal needs, but big, raw, Kingdom driven prayer.
Paul, in his first letter to Timothy, urges him to give “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people” (1 Timothy 2:1). He goes on to tell Timothy that these types of prayers are pleasing to God because He desires all people to come to a saving knowledge in Christ.
The Believers on campus at ASU are about to engage in 35 days of 24 hour prayer. The calling is to pray big and raw for the Kingdom.
VI will be scheduled Wednesday nights from 9 to 10 PM at Danforth Chapel for next 5 weeks. Please join us as we engage in Kingdom prayer for our campus and city.
Post ways we can be praying for ASU and Tempe over next month.
